Baked Oats

These are absolutely deeeelicious and win me over whenever I want a bowl to warm me up before heading out in the dark mornings or before bed to make me feel cosy in the colder winter nights and to help to get the best nights sleep.

I absolutely love summer, but autumn is most definitely one of my favourite seasons, not only do I love the fashion but because you get to bring back the yummy food comforts without having to deal with porridge sweats! You know what I am talking about!!

Baked Oats

  • 35g organic porridge oats (or enough to half fill the dish you are using)
  • 50ml almond/nut milk
  • 2 tbsp honey (or to taste)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon (I love cinnamon!)
  • Filling: chopped apple, blueberries, raisons, raspberries, 1-2 squares dark chocolate

It couldn't be easier. Mix the above together until deliciously fluffy and pop into an oven proof dish at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown on top. Don't over cook as you want them as you want them to stay fluffy inside.

Let them cool a little and enjoy nice and hot.. and if you are nut butter obsessed like me dollop a generous serving on top.

If you make them be sure to tag me - I absolutely love seeing all your photos!
