So I'm going to briefly talk to you about Zoats... basically, porridge with grated courgette! But though it sounds nuts, and completely bizzare, don't knock them until you have tried them. Trust me.
- 40g oats
- 1 scoop of protein, I used Vanilla but any would be delicious
- 80 grated courgette
- 200ml almond milk
- 1-2 tbsp honey
- Topping: Frozen raspberries, almonds, peanut butter, dark chocolate, chopped nuts
(these can be changed up to whatever you fancy!!)
I cook my porridge on the hob out of pure fear of ruining or overcooking my oats (its not worth the upset of wasting food!!) so I throw all the ingredients aside from the topping in a saucepan and cook until done, this will only take few minutes. Once done, transfer into a bowl and pop all the desired toppings on and simply enjoy! You wont look back!
