Cinnamon & Maple Syrup Porridge

So, after having a number of requests from Instagram for the above recipe I thought I would do a quick post on it so that you can all try this deliciously moreish breakfast (lunch, dinner or made into a little snack if you would prefer - sometimes have this before bed, makes me sleep like a baby!!)


  • 1 cup oats (I like to blend mine up to make them super smooth but this is optional)
  • 2 cups almond milk (or enough to cover the oats)
  • 1-2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • Toppings (optional - I use a combo of dependent on what I fancy): frozen raspberries, nut butter, almonds, hazelnuts, dark chocolate, choc shot, raisins, coconut

    *Heat the above on the hob until the desired consistency and remember to keep stirring!!*

I like to keep things interesting so I also change up what I have on top or it is also seriously good without and just plain! I am in the process of trying new flavours so the ones that pass the SGH test I will be posting about because I enjoy sharing my ideas for everyone else to try!
